Mashed Potatoes

The potato came from the New World. Christopher Columbus first encountered the sweet potato on the Island of St. Thomas. The natives called them batata. Later the Spanish changed the name to potato because it sounded more Spanish. A century later explorers in Peru brought the white potato to Europe.  Soft round food is the best for your bowels.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes (russets or yukon golds)
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel potatoes.
  2. Cut potatoes.
  3. Boil potatoes.
  4. Stab potatoes with a fork – if soft – they are done.
  5. Mash potatoes.
  6. Add  salt and pepper.
  7. Add warm half milk half cream to your mashed potatoes.
  8. Whip the b-jesus out of them to desired texture.
  9. take an icecream scoop and make perfect round balls and drop them on your plate.
