Salisbury Steak
Salisbury steak is a dish made from a blend of minced beef and other ingredients, which is artistically molded to resemble a steak even though it isn’t. Hamburger steak is not the same! Salisbury steak was invented by an American physician, Dr. J. H. Salisbury (1823–1905). Traditionally it’s served with gravy and my favorite, mashed potatoes. I cannot for the life of me find Salisbury Steak TV dinners anymore. All this Thai and no fat tofu nonsense. I demand they bring back my Salisbury Steak TV dinners. Who’s with me?
